Made some people happy today, lost diamond ring found!
Was down at the oceanfront metal detecting (and finding pretty much nothing) when a young woman approached and said she had just lost her ring and saw it slip off of her finger. It landed right in the wash where the waves were breaking. Took a little bit but but after a few minutes I was able find it. They were so happy! (never got their names I'm sorry to say) And I was happy to have been there at the right moment!
She said she was just starting to Google search when she saw me approaching. So happy to save their vacation (married one month) so congrats to them and I hope the rest of their trip goes well and their jewelry stays on their fingers!
