If the secondary (rearmost) TPS can be adjusted using the line that appears on the dash in dealer mode, then what method is used to dial in the primary? The only response I get on the dash is when adjustments are made to the secondary.
Hi all, I posted a while back about throttle issues I was having, and things have not gotten any better. 2007 DL650. Heavy bog on throttle, jerky/inconsistent power delivery. No codes showing in dealer mode. I replaced the sensor as suggested, using a cheap one off amazon, with no luck. I replaced the fuel pump, did a coolant flush and installed new plugs while I was at it. Continued to have issues, but finally started getting the TPS code in dealer mode. Today I installed an OEM TPS I had to order from halfway across the goddamn world, since there were no unused OEM ones in the US I could find. Same issues. Tried installing with throttle rolled on, without, various angles, nothing at all. Did the same thing with a nicer aftermarket sensor, still the same. Still throwing the same code in dealer mode. I'm at a loss at this point, I'm half ready to sell it and find something else. People swore to me up and down that this is one of the most reliable bikes you can own, but I've had nothing but problems with it. Any advice is appreciated.
