What SHOULD I be doing when my cat bites me out of nowhere?
If I'm sitting, minding my own business or even sleeping, my cat (male, neutered 5 years) will come up and bite me out of nowhere. Somebody said I should gently but firmly press the body part he's biting farther into his mouth so it's unpleasant. When I do this, he just leaves.
I don't mind giving him attention or cuddling, I just don't want to reward the biting! What should I do when he bites?
