Sun readers/single focus sunglasses
I have a progressive prescription but I have used clear 1.5x single-focus readers that work great for near and far focus. Rather than spend $300 on a pair of prescription sunglasses, has anyone found good quality over-the-counter sunglasses with magnification?

I have a woodworking machine that uses these small carbide inserts with a radius profile. A new set of 8 inserts from the manufacturer is $1000. Can't find any aftermarket tooling. Seems to me there might be a small CNC profile grinder out there that could sharpen these and pay for itself in a few uses, and I could sharpen inserts for other shops that use similar tooling. Does such a machine exist?
