So I’m supposed to be starting a fire academy where I’m located in August which also happens to be the same month wife is giving birth. I’m already 100% P/T but I’m struggling to figure out how this is going to work financially. I’ll only be full time part way through the semester for the academy so I won’t be receiving full BAH benefits the entire semester and what I’ll be bringing home is a few grand below what our budget allows. Are there any other services that are aimed towards us when going to college for a bigger allowance or maybe veterans spouses when unemployed?
