Basically as the title says was gonna join the Vermintide Discord but then saw there was several of them with names I know nothing about, is there a difference between them?

Basically using the Markus DLC class and loving him, not really ever been good with ranged weapons in games. Whilst his dmg is excellent I keep finding myself in situations that my dmg falls behind cause the 2-3 ranged characters can one shot enemies just as fast and from so far away I cant keep up. I tend to have more monster dmg but that doesnt mean much when I am thousands and in some cases tens of thousands of dmg behind my ranged counterparts. On difficulties with friendly fire its even worse because by the time I can get to a horde wave Im being shot in the back and if I can get a choke point locked down I am just blocking my own team from playing the game entirely unless they just shoot me to.

I tend to be keeping up okay ish with elites and specials but even with them thats only the tankier ones because the rest get one shot my my ranged characters far far before I can reach them. I would get it more if the enemy would stay aggrod on me atleast so I can tank but even with monsters they will randomly aggro onto someone else which massively reduces my helpfulness. I often get out of the game and just think "huh, I genuinely wasnt needed here" as I know they can safely kill any enemy at any range and sure I make killing monsters quicker cutting it down to 5-10 seconds but even if I didnt they would easily kill it in 20-30 I am the only one that needs to take a risk. Again sure I tend to have highest or joint highest monster dmg but that means very very little when I am behind on everything else except dmg taken which is a bad stat.

TLDR: struggle to have as much worth or impact as ranged classes can do with ease and 0 danger.
