Whenever I'm out around town doing my own shopping (groceries, hardware, etc.) I'll usually text my parents if they want anything and usually it's yes. I don't mind picking things up for them since it's easier for me than for them to do it but they always pay me back in cash, and usually more than the amount I spend (i.e $150 for $100 in groceries).

I don't mind this at all but I'm wondering if there are any ramifications if I consistently deposit cash. It probably averages around 400-500 per month but I don't go to the bank often so I deposit $1500 every few months.

My parents are technologically challenged so e transfer or other electronic transfer methods are out of the question
