I have met some doctors like gastroenterologist. allergist, PCP, dermatologist, psychiatrist and have been diagnosed with GERD, eczema, dermatographia, anxiety until now. I spoke to the allergist about possible mcas and got the 24 hr urine tests and tryptase done. I also got an endoscopy and colonoscopy done but it just showed i had mild chronic stomach inflammation. The urine and tryptase test hasnt been discussed with my allergist yet but j am worried if they will dismiss it. These were the results : 2,3 dinor prostaglandin is 1795. Tryptase 4.6 and leukotrienne E4 24 hour urine is 134 H and N methylhistamine is 230 H
My questions i need support with are:
Can i still have mcas with these results? Based on your experiences.
What should i ask my doctors (allergist/gastroenterologist) if they dismiss it?
Anything you guys think i should know or think about please feel free to share. Open to anything that helps feel supported.
