Gigabyte motherboard gets stuck in POST

Hi there,

I'm looking for some help for the problem I encounter.

I'm running a GIGABYTE B560M AORUS Elite with the latest BIOS F13b with 4 SATA drives (Windows 11, Games, Data Dump and Linux). Main OS is Windows 11, but I try to fiddle with Linux (CachyOS with GRUB or Limine and PopOS)

Often times when I shut down Windows (Hibernation and Standby are deactivated) and start the PC the next time the BIOS is stuck in POST.

The monitor tells me that it tries to enter the BIOS (Del) or the Boot Menu (F12) but nothing happens. The only solution is to unplug the Linux drive and than the PC will just run fine and dandy.

Secure Boot, Fast Boot, Full Screen Logo are deactived, ErP is activated. It does not matter whether Linux or Windows are Boot #1. I even removed the battery and loaded the Optimized Defaults.

I can rule out a Hardware defect because I tried every logical combination possible: Linux solo with each and a 5th cable, in combination with Games and/or Data. Windows the same. Only when I run Windows in combination with the Linux drive the POST stuff may happen.

Some enlightment is greatly appreciated.
