I have to say first, I’m blown away by these. The first couple days, I was so discouraged because I truly didn’t know what I was getting myself into. I think I was comparing this to VR so when it wasn’t as immersive as my Valve Index, I was disappointed. I know, that’s a completely unfair comparison. After a few days of use, I deciding to take these on a family vacation to use. After a few days of tweaking the settings, using it for work, games and watching some shows, I’m absolutely sold. Especially with the new update. This tech is not quite there and there are a few things that still bother me a bit but I feel will soon replace my monitor.

Now, I did not buy these for the 3d setting and would have purchased these with or without the option. I almost felt like it was a gimmick more than an actual function I would use which leads me to ask a couple questions. Please excuse my ignorance in this subject.

I watched a sample video on spacewalker and… I’ll be honest, I was taken aback with how he fricken cool that was. Now I’m very curious and want to dig into this a little more.

This doesn’t change anything I want to watch into 3d correct? Every time I turn this option on, the glasses split in each eye and doesn’t actually change anything. I have to watch specific 3d content correct? If so, is there a specific place for this content?

Thank you in advance!

Ultimate travel companion!

I got the Viture beast xr glasses and was super skeptical at first, even after using them for a couple days. I just couldn’t seem to get it to “feel” right but after fine tuning the settings and most importantly, updating the most recent firmware, I am absolutely convinced this is the proper way to game on this device. Maybe even game on any device, including full gaming PC’s.

The screen on the apex is great but i was super tempted with the new mini coming out,(I also own a go2 and love the oled). I can honestly say, xr is the perfect solution. It’s not perfect by any means but it’s so good. With time, i can imagine it will improve significantly.

If you’re like me, you own the apex and had instant buyers remorse when news of the mini hit, give this a shot. I genuinely believe this will soon replace monitors… well, for me anyway.

Anyone else have this set up?
