My name is Abbi (18f) I’m having a hard time making friends, I have a service dog who is a Great Dane and I kinda have to have him with me 24/7 as I can have severe seizures and he helps me with that and I’m mostly in a wheelchair on my days out. It’s kinda hard making friends due to people my age don’t take to kindly to having a massive dog with me or the find it embarrassing when I’m in a wheelchair or have to have a service dog? Honestly most of my friends are older for that reason but I would like people more my age. It also really doesn’t help because friends that I have sometimes don’t understand how much ATTENTION I get due to having such a huge dog which I personally don’t mind people can be curious it’s wtv but sometimes it makes new friends anxious or uncomfortable 😕
