Delete if not allowed. My husband has an order of removal he was 8 when he first came to the US through Brownsville, TX (his mother missed their hearing). He has done AP. We asked his lawyer a few months back to see if it would be safe to try and get that order thrown out, but were told due to the circumstances and the pushback they’ve been getting from Texas, that it would be wise to wait things out until either things get better or whenever viejito Trump is out of office. However, what with all these delays and figuring he may or may not have anything to lose at this point, he wanted to see if he could pursue that again in order for us to get his residency. I wanted to see if anyone has been going through this or if it would be safe to do so? I apologize if I sound ignorant.
I also had some concerns. He was also trying to renew his DACA now since it’s up in October and they’re telling us to wait until the next month due to changes in regards to the matter (something about hearing from other offices that putting it in too early may affect the outcome, we live in VA) and they are also making him do it via paper vs. online for some reason, stating that he couldn’t do it online this time? Any help would be great. Thank you in advance and stay safe!
