I’ve been running an aap01 with the CTM tac v2 bolt, a TTI short stroke 4mm, Glock adjustable trigger and a 200% nozzle and 150% recoil spring. I was running the zinc hammer from the stock gun and recently it started triple bursting and the hammer would get stuck. No doubt that the zinc hammer set finally gave out. My local shop has told me to replace it with another zinc hammer set instead of buying the stainless steel sets. Their reasoning is that most of the sets including the TTI, Cow Cow, and even the CTM v1 SS set have and still do have QC issues and that it’s a huge 50/50 if it gets installed.
I’ve seen that a lot of people here have different experiences with these sets so what would be the best set to look into? I’ve seen that CTM made a v2 version that “addressed” a majority of the issues with the v1 and I’m considering buying that one, however, I imagine others have different thoughts and advice. I’m still fairly new to airsoft imo so any help is appreciated, thanks!
