I have heard/experienced that the tickets sold for Lost Boys go in order from when you get there, farthest L/R to closest to the aisle. Meaning #1 in ine gets the farthest over seat. Is this still true?

I experienced this when I rushed a few weeks ago and was very confused that it didn't go the other way (ie: #1 in line gets best seats). Has anyone who has recently rushed know the answer?
