Stopping multivitamin too soon??

Hi all, my little one was born at 27+5 and was just discharged last Friday at 39 weeks exactly. We’ve been doing her Yum! multivitamin in her first bottle of the day, along with 2 bottles a day of Enfamil NueroPro Enfacare for premature babies. The rest of her bottles are just expressed breastmilk with nothing added.

We had our first pediatrician appointment post discharge yesterday. Her pediatrician told us we could stop both the formula bottles and the multivitamin. He said just breast milk should be enough for her now, and that he’d see us again in 2 months. But in reading other posts here I’m seeing most people keeping their babies on the multivitamins for at least a year if not longer, so it has me really worried. I gave it to her this morning anyways because I figured at the very least it won’t hurt her.

Has anyone ever stopped it this soon? This decision also makes me wary of whether or not I should even stop the formula bottles, but I’m also open to the possibility that I’m just being paranoid after the whole NICU process.

Thank you in advance
