This boss battle was just nonsense to me in terms of the story. Why did we spend so long getting their approval just for them to do this to us at the end? Besides that they KNOW we're trusted by Telamon and Shedletsky, this boss battle ended up rendering the councilman trial (yk where he declared that we had GOOD intentions) and the wizard lady's puzzle completely useless. Like, I get that the redcliff guy hated us and wanted us dead, so he probably convinced them to fight us... but we got the other 2 trinity people's approval... like that was the entire point of the other two's trials.(aside from the obligatory gameplay feature of getting the key items). Why did we need to fight all 3 of them? For "hype moments and aura"?
I would've preferred that the boss battle before the korblox guy was the Redcliff guy but super buffed up after he attacked the other 2 and stole their weapons. That'd be way more compelling than what we got, at least to me
I might have bad media literacy (or wtv) so correct me if im wrong and somehow this boss battle was not a total asspull for the sake of having a hard miniboss
