Ongoing Fokus magazine notices
So, a few years ago I subscribed to a free *Fokus* magazine trial. I was a minor when I did it, and they started sending me the magazine weekly. At some point, they began sending payment notices for the subscription. Being a scared and dumb teen, I tried my best to explain that I had only signed up for the trial (which probably had the “continues unless cancelled” part written somewhere in small print), and I told them I wanted to cancel.
I sent this message to the email address that sent me the payment notice, which in hindsight I probably should have sent to the actual official support email instead. Now, almost two years later, they are still sending letters and emails, and the fee has grown into a huge amount.
Am I in trouble? Should I pay? Or could this possibly be a scam? Some people around me have said it might be, which is partly why I ignored it.
P.S. I did initially send one of the first payments, but I think there was some kind of problem with it.
