I've decided to get True SVH skates. I live in the Deep South, there is no hockey store within 7 hours of me. I am going to have to fly out to get scanned and buy. If I have to fly, I can fly just about anywhere. I know PH and HM all can do this, however I have heard it's beast to go to a shop that specializes in Trues and has a dedicated account rep. Where is the absolute best place to get scanned and buy True SVH's in the US?

I'm planning to make a trip to get new SVH's ordered at Pure Hockey in the next couple weeks.

I tried Flylites for a couple months, the toe box was way too tight and caused discomfort. I got lace bite and numbness.

I've been in FT8 pros for a couple of months now and due to foot shape am between a fit 1 and fit 2. I have lateral movement in fit 2 so I went with fit 1's and baked them. It's enough a squeeze through the arch and heel that it causes pain after 20-30 minutes on the ice. Orthotics don't help.

I broke the ball of the heel off my foot early last year, and skate fit has been a strain since returning to the ice. While the heel was repair it is very slightly misshapen and the scar tissue around it is both numb and yet hypersensitive.

I'm 35 and am a rec league guy, but I'm in search of comfort. I'm hoping the SVH's are the ticket. Having the boot made from my actual foot scan gives me hope. I'm a little overwhelmed by some of the options. What options did you choose on your skate and why?

Thanks group.
