This story has many conspiracies many weird things but it is 100% true from start to end .

Background

First i would like to introduce you to my coaching a very good friend R .

He was a very mature and a smart person . This guy studied 2 years in allen had very powerful notes . In advanced mocks he used to be top 100 in the state of Delhi. My guy used to do worse in mains mocks and then eventually in JEE mains mocks he claims to have gotten 80%tile-85%tile (i have never verified these but this is what I know) . Apparently he had done whole ms Chauhan once too .

His notes were powerful , he had good physics , weak mathematics , decent chemistry. He says that he doesn't even know himself how did he score that bad in mains after doing so awesome everywhere else but blames his preparation eventually . [NTA MIGHT have played there]

Coaching Life

He came in our academy. This is mostly a local academy where I studied too.

Initially he would score like 150 in part tests and I would do about 200 [peaked at 266]

Up until September this continued to happen but whenever you saw him hed be grinding the PW 47 year Adv+ mains book . I used to be very good friends with him . He made decent jokes studied hard had experience.

I was honestly too in the fly like I became pretty a showoff and a guy who would study nothing still hit 200+ . (I regret it now) Eventually one day he too had enough and challenged me that he'd score very well . I took it as a fun challenge and said yeah dude sure .

In October end when the main major test series started. He made his comeback . In the same period i (sadly) got rejected by my crush and then basically fked up my mathematics board exam and then messed up nsec and nsep combined so my morale went downhill litterally . Whole of November I wasted . He went from 150 to 200 and I went from 200+ to 120 .

He was a HARDWORKER . Like a donkey my man would be doing every single thing everything sab kuch karta tha .

My chemistry sir was goated as fk . He taught us so decent physical that we all grinded super hard neeraj kumar all the top books . Our notes were top class in physical chemistry . Litterally like top kota batches type shi notes.

My physics sir began giving us mocks by end of November . And those were the FITJEE mocks of 2020 which were very hard. I used to score 90-100 and he used to score 160-200 (full tests). Me physics sir and my another good friend were joking ki you should wear those kaale nazar bands kyuki we are definitely probably jealous. And we used to joke ki bhai pehen ke aaja .(we were good friends)

He used to tell us how he's grinding hcv completely before mains 1 . He had finished his 47yearbook almost completely of physics and most of maths . He completed ms Chauhan as well completely .

Then came the final test series in January where this guy would be 267 in pw mocks , 200+ in every full tests . Top 3000 ranks in naraina tests with a massive 245 marks where I was at 170 ish . I was basically behind all 6 toppers of my academy .

Final JEE main January

January 23s2 i went in there had a terrible physics and then barely did 43 questions . Did 5 wrong and got 147 marks and then 2 bonus got me to 155. I got 98.7%tile

He checks his response sheet he did 54 ish questions and then he gets 141 marks . Which is very poor accuracy for someone like him but that's not even the worst part.

According to 141 marks one should be getting about 98%tile . He gets 92.8 . JUST... IMAGINE .

Imagine solving hcv , all pyq books , 240-260 in mocks to what 92.8? Not even clearing cutoff ????

We thought that it might be some anomaly and this guy didn't even save his response sheet . I've told him to check hustory countless times but he didn't. I saw someone on reddit here where they mailed NTA of a similar anomaly 145 to 85 marks or something and NTA debarred him forever

Advanced Preparation and April attempt:

Anyways so now he's UNHAPPY . He is sad , but doesn't go into depression but very crucially unhappy . My academy head believes that he only maybe didn't work that hard and then i promised him myself ki he will crack 99.5+ easily next time i know who he is.

He gives adv mocks with us scores 120-150 in each of them (like 180 ke mocks mein 60-80 laata tha) . He would solve them so quickly like kehta tha ki bhai poori chem hogayi , physics ke 8 hogaye , math ke 8 hogaye in 3 hrs while me and my friend were at 60-90 and we were like gazab praani hai humse physics sirf 7-10 marks ki hil rahi.

Breakdown was he used to have 30 31 25

I used to have 7 35 10 and then I would be demotivated as fk each time

My friend used to have 12 28 16 as well similarly .

He filles up for all exams like bitsat ugee isi considering navy as well

He told us that he's NOT happy and this time he went ALL in on math from completing the blackbook scqs , went even after the yellow book and said I'll get my calculus at this level that i might even attempt 75/75 . Wed be like sure dude wed love to have success stories

" a guy from 92.8 made comeback of 99.9" like that shi

He did everything yall can imagine all tests he was grinding good . Gave mocks 22s2 23s2 .

In my 23s2 he scored 88 physics 52 chem and 50 math [which is weird since physics was WAYY harder than chem]

22s2 he also did decent

24s2 he got 214 [i got 190]

April results

Comes the april mains now it gets even weirder:

I go in 4s1 score like 208 ka karke aata hu math was wtf it was and then he gives 6s1 he said 50+ ques kar diye hai hojayega acha and he got troubled by math too.

Response sheet comes . I tell him ki bhai meri team ne scorecard checker banaya hai . He waits a whole day but aayi nahi and then he idk kahi chale jaata hai and then I message him immediately when it comes he sees my message but doesn't reply . I message him a day later he doesn't see my message or gets delivered .

I message him 2 days after he calls me back immediately and is like BRO I didn't KNOW it had come I was waiting whole day you should've called me atleast. I said abhi bhi check krle but NTA took it down . I on call joke with him that the way NTA fked you in January I hope it doesn't happen this time . He laughs and then we say alright man hope for best .

He doesn't answer calls tells me not to call him . And then he replies this[he's a pretty old school type guy and mostly reacts thumbs up when he agrees to it and doesn't say sahi baat hai or something else , uses emojis like they express]

THE WEIRD

We get his pdf somehow from my sir .

He got 80 PERCENTILE??? HOW THE FUCK DOES SOMEONE WHO HAS DONE EVERY SINGLE DAMN THING , GRINDED ALL GOOD BOOKS . EVERY TEST HES JUST GOOD . HE IS JUST GOOD . All the aakash success magnet sab kardia tha yar bhai ne . There was a guy who was much like uh not as good as him and he did 160 marks ka and scored 120 marks and got 95.7%tile . Mind you the main guy R had much better math far better physics and goated chemistry . Like he would be ballin 80 chem 80 phy 60 math every single mock .

First attempt we were like chalo thoda yeh banda exam hall main panic kar gaya hoga .

Bro this guy got 40%tile in physics in april . HOW THE hell does anyone get 40%tile this is like doing 3 questions .

I don't believe anything at all , this guy can't fuck up papers twice. And its not like i have any doubt . I AM COMPLETELY sure .

He gives bitsat and gets 230 in 16s2(Hard as fuck shift) without any mocks or anything . Which proves his crediblity again . (If you guys know i got 229 in 15s2 too)

I don't believe this anymore. Does NTA selectively fk people? do they sell results? Is there something going on inside? How is it possible even?

You know i feel so bad even if he's a competitor i don't care man he deserves an IIT more than me . Most of the teachers or the head sir even his parents say that isi bande mein kami reh gayi hogi . Only me , physics sir , my friend , chemistry sir(Who left) know how goated of a guy this was , he wasn't even close to being a weak student . But everyone is blaming him now .

Bro yeh insan ko bas advanced EK bar dene ki iccha thi kyuki he was VERY well prepared to 100% get an IIT . and its not like humare samne paper nahi deta tha .

I genuinely feel so disheartened i can't imagine what he's going through can you guys help a bit?

I've given so much info that he might be even be easily recognised at this point but i wanted to share w you guys

TLDR: insane as fuck guy gets 260 in mocks and gets 80%tile in april mains and doesn't manage to clear cutoff twice when we all are 100% sure its not his mistake
