Hi all, question about some functionality with my Traynor YGL-1. I love this amp, and I mostly use it on the Pure mode. The YGL-1 has 3 settings, a Clean mode that is based on Fender, a Brit mode that is based on Vox/ Marshall, and a Pure mode that bypasses the tone/ EQ controls and only allows for Gain and Master Volume adjustments. I use a few pedals so generally do my EQing with those, hence my preference for Pure mode.
I also use a Strymon Iridium with headphones/ my interface. If I turned off the IR/ Cab sim on the Iridium, could I then use the amp models through the Traynor’s Pure mode, which is technically just a speaker setting? Is that even true? I don’t know how the power amp impacts the tone overall or is this is possible with a modeller.
