My turn. Bought the NES with lawnmowing money when I was 5. Mom had a kitchen timer set to 60mins so we got gud at speed running early. SNES. Traded 64 for PS1 to play Metal Gear and FF7. Still have those jewel cases.

This was fun and reminded me the balance of gaming for hobby, appreciation for the art and the fact that it can be an unhealthy addiction.
No one would guess I still play games almost every night and none of my friends do.
I just traded in Expedition 33 today. The gameplay was awesome but the story reveal and everything after was disappointing.
I did like Persona 5 which is similar style to E33. Despite everyone saying the soundtrack is awesome, I played Blockhead albums the entire time which fit perfectly.
Disappointed with the Rebirth bloat and Chadley..
Honorable mention is both new God of War games and Balder’s Gate 3.
Next up is Armored Core 6.
I’m stoked about the future use of the dual sense controller. Saros is going to have to wait I have a rule to only buy used and on sale.
I secretly let my 2 year old play Astro bot once but otherwise have a game cave that she doesn’t see. I hate the way things are going with tablet games for kids.
Shout out to Delta game emulator to keep it real for the kids and quick save file nostalgia gaming for us old timers.
If you do put your kids on tablets, download Delta and use Vimms lair.
I enjoy extremely challenging games but couldn’t care less about platinum. Recommendations?
