I understand where she is coming from, her fury over Walter is genuine,
But that's not what I am annoyed about. It's the constant entitlement attitude she shows around everything. Even like during her interactions with Ted, she tries to seduce him at multiple occasion. But she behaves and shows like a saint, she wants everyone to accept her silliness as a part of her charm, but she won't compromise anywhere. She didn't say I would leave the house, she said Leave my house.
Tiny things where she could have communicated, rather than wanting Walt to telepathically understand her, etc, makes her more unlikeable.
Imagine trying to defend her, but it annoys you to defend her.
Walt is no saint, he is a bastard manipulator, but he accepts that(knows that). But it seems like skylar's understanding is very immature.
I actually wanted many times for walter to find a better wife rather than deal with her.
She cares for Walter but her care for him always feels like out of sympathy or some kind of misleading loss.
She always prioritizes her revenge ahead of everything.
That ticks me off, she manages to make everything about herself. Marie is annoying like a show-off, but she has a caring nature, but this old hag has some kind of auraless aura that she behave like looking down on others.
No issue with her being a great character, but her reasoning and choices lack substance which makes her annoying. Side characters and villains has better likeability than her.
