Mortgage vs Payoff
Currently have $1.2MM in brokerage investment account. Potentially $1.3MM by end of summer. My question is I have $384k mortgage with 2.75% interest rate and 22 years remaining- should I pay off or never pay it off. I know the math says to not pay it off, but for FIRE and early retirement, this is the only risk and debt I have left to be FI. What would you do?
