My first ever bike!

My first ever bike!

Specialized roll 2.0, XL in green. I had to drive to Eugene, oregon to find one yesterday. Had a great time up there with it as there's a ton of cycling infrastructure.

Took it on a 25 mile ride today back home. Completely exhausted but can't wait to recover and go again tomorrow.

I've recently became very interested in getting a bike for fitness/fun after getting an opportunity to hop on someone's extremely cheap bike. I haven't rode on one in probably 15-20 years since I was a young child.

I'm wanting to ride on pavement, I don't have any plans to go off road or onto trails. I do live on a paved, albeit rough country road where there's no real shoulder and everyone goes 60.

What kinda bike should I get? My budget is between 700-1000 (USD) for the bike alone, not counting other gear like a helmet. The Sirrus X2.0 from Specialized is appealing to me. Is this a good bike for someone who only wants to ride on pavement?
