Ive ran out of meds about a week ago. This week has been hell without it, typically I email my provider when im running low and they refill it. There has been radio silence from them and their nursing staff responded to my message to my provider and basically told me that they are really busy and they will get to it when they can get to it. This has never happened before. I decided to try to call patient advocate to see if I can get the ball rolling on my refill. To nobody's surprise, patient advocate does not answer their phone at all. I've been calling all week and I'm at the end of the semester and this has been really screwing with how im performing. I've been going to this VA for years and ive been happy with their treatment of me, I can acknowledge that the political environment probably has a role to play but man the quality has rapidly diminished, the one golden thing that I have going for me is my VRE counselor, they are great. Super responsive and willing to go the extra mile to get me what I need. I want to know that if I switch my VA services to where im at school, will I have to switch over my VRE because I absolutely do not want to lose my counselor.
