I posted my results a while back but have since learned a bit more. Instead of using the global calculator, I attached screenshots of the results set to the European calculators that gave me the closest genetic fit for each period.
–2: AncestryDNA results (October 2025)
 Hunter-Gatherer & Farmer
 Bronze Age (Central Europe)
 Iron Age (Italy North)
 Late Antiquity (Italy North)
 Middle Ages (Central Europe)
 Closest modern populations
DIY model using modern samples roughly corresponding to current AncestryDNA regions (English [Cornwall and Kent], Irish, Scottish, Welsh, German, Austrian, Danish, Ashkenazi Jew [including East and West])
My known ancestry is English on both sides, Irish and Ashkenazi on my father’s side, and presumably Scottish and/or Scots-Irish on my mother’s side. I’m not aware of any recent German or Danish ancestry on either side but I haven’t done too much research into my family tree. My Germanic Europe and Scotland percentages tend to fluctuate fairly dramatically with every AncestryDNA update.
