We’re currently conducting our undergraduate thesis on hematology, specifically focusing on Automated Digital Cell Morphology Systems for WBC differential and platelet analysis.
We are looking for laboratories in Manila or anywhere in Luzon that are using systems such as:
- Sysmex DI-60
- CellaVision DC-1
or any similar digital cell imaging analyzers
To clarify, we are specifically interested in:
Automated digital microscopy-based systems
Systems that analyze peripheral blood smears (PBS) using image processing / AI
NOT systems based purely on fluorescence flow cytometry
These analyzers work by digitally capturing and pre-classifying blood cells from stained slides, helping standardize and automate the manual differential process.
If your lab, hospital, or institution uses this type of system (or if you know one that does), we would really appreciate any leads, recommendations, or contacts.
This would be a huge help for our thesis research.
