Got some more paint on my McFarlane battle sister. Reached a point where it just needs a little bit of tidying here and there and I need to finish off the inquisitorial symbol on the left shoulder and then she is done. Just the weapons left to go after that.
My partner bought a couple of the McFarlane artist proofs for me last Father’s Day (battle sister and Darktide ogryn) and I’m finally getting around to working on one of them.
I wasn’t sure of the colour scheme to go for but while I was down at my FLGS I came across turbodork and their range of zenishift paint. Immediately I was sold on the pink/purple combo of their Romeo & Juliet colour.
I’m a fairly average painter and a beginner with the airbrush but I’m pretty happy with it so far. Primed black with a zenithal and then have sprayed a couple coats of the zenishift, I’ll let this dry properly and add another coat before moving on to the fleur de lis, cables, cloth etc.
