Hey there people, I’m trying to find a spot to run my power wire from my engine battery into the cab for a sub and amp I just got. I cannot find a single place to run a wire that can run from the inside of the cab to the engine by the battery, does anyone know where there is one/if there is one?
A client reached out and brought a truck they just bought to my shop. The whole body has several scratches, small marks and nicks in the paint, and dents. It is not in terrible shape, but definitely not great. He asked me if I could use spray cans he used.
He showed me a sample of the paint and it matches the truck color perfectly, and did have clearcoat on the sample.
I attached some photos of the condition.
I already told him he would need like 15 cans of each the paint and clearcoat if he wanted to go this route, and I also told him I could order some actual automotive paint. He wanted to use his method.
He doesn’t want me to do the entire truck, mainly the door panels, tailgate, and hood, and blend it into the top where new paint will not be put.
My problem is, I have no idea what to charge. I know it’ll take a lot of prep. It’s a 2017 Silverado.
