Me and my husband are looking at apartments in Spokane WA and toured a really nice place off of Riverside and Sprague that is in our budget. We keep hearing that it is a bad area to live though. We are familiar with downtown Spokane and I know someone who lives in Brownes Addition so I have somewhat of an idea of how it can be. I'm just wondering if it is really that bad or would be fine for a couple with no kids or pets, just focused on working and saving money. We eventually want to buy a house anyways so it wouldn't be forever. If you have any recommendations or information about that area I'd love to hear. We are also looking on the South Hill, that would be ideal but it is hard to find something good in our budget.
