Based on the fae folk theory. When Martin claimed "My blood is your blood" Martin claimed his blood as his own and transferred his blood. Following so far? When Boyd did the same to smilie he also claimed his own blood as his possession and gave it to smilie along with the supposed worms.

In fae folklore possession is a power because fae own nothing and are ever changing. Meaning humans hold power in their possession and can use them against Fae.

Although the worms transferred could have possibly been from some other transaction (possibly from the spider bite before he ended up in the well waiting for Julie to drop the rope) I think Martin isn't MiY. I think Martin's transfer activated against something already in Boyd's blood making the worms show up.

I also think the voice Sara heard that sounded like Abby was someone trying to steer them away from the spider nest to try to avoid bringing the worms in town. I believe they had an object of Sara's and have been using it to cause the voices in her head.

I think the dreams, voices, and visions are all due to their objects being possessed by fae to manipulate or bind their souls to keep returning. Jade has been manipulated by the dummy since he arrived. How they had dreams and nightmares before arriving, how Father Kotri was called to the place. Tabatha was able to leave Fromville through the tower because of Victor's lunch box, leading her to Victor's father. I'm thinking helping the children and to keep them from returning they have to burn everything, even their clothes or use the possessions as weapons against the Fae. The possessions were also how Jim was used to talk to Ethan, how Father Kotri was advising Boyd. Because the possessions can bind souls, descendants, create guides, and shades.

Their souls are trapped in a loop, that keeps making them return to die again because they are the original townies. The monsters who gave up their souls to live forever as Other. I don't think that they knew they bargained their children otherwise Tabatha and Jade wouldn't think they were returning to save the children. The children are trying to save them.

I think when Boyd was torturing Elgin to find Fatima and the camera went off and showed a picture of his home but the boat was missing....that was a hint that the possession being used against Boyd to manipulate him is the Boat Keys!

Something about bringing Smilie back was the right thing if Fatima is the Kimono lady. Smilie's soul is one of the people in town and him no longer being a monster means they could have possibly not been reincarnated or returned if they died. Then again when they found the tooth in his pocket and took it from his possession....yeah I'm at a loss. It was going good until now
