How to become an intercultural communication trainer in the UK?
Hi everyone, I'm considering switching career and becoming a cross-cultural communication trainer and would love some realistic industry advice.
I have a degree in Intercultural Communication, I speak several languages, and I've lived in the UK for over a decade. I want to transition into freelancing / consulting but the certification landscape is pricey and confusing.
My main dilemma:
I was considering doing an ICF accredited course to start coaching in this field and once I make enough money, re-invest it in a psychometric tool like CQ Certification or IDI. Another way could be getting an intercultural trainer certificate.
Does anyone have any advice/experience on which path corporate clients value more for team workshops?
Thank you in advance
