Hi everyone! I (20F) am in desperate need of recommendations. I have naturally light skin, but have gone a full year without wearing any sunscreen, so now my face looks multiple shades darker from the rest of my body.
Since I'm a uni student, I have to walk around campus in direct sun for 30+ minutes every day. I wear a headscarf, but don't carry an umbrella, sunglasses or a cap (can't risk aura loss lmao).
I want to build a very basic routine that I'll actually be able to commit to (I can't commit to too many products), to get my natural face shade back. My budget is around 3k per product (though I’m willing pay more if smth is an absolute holy grail).
Skin type: Oily/combination (not sure, but definitely acne prone and gets greasy)
Current routine: Dove soap bar as facewash (twice a day) & Dermive oil-free moisturizer (sometimes).
These are the products I might be able to commit to:
Sunscreen: I keep hearing about Sunplay Skin Aqua Clear White (SPF 50+, PA++++). Will this actually hold up well for me?
Tan removal/treatment: I want to introduce an active to lift this tan. I was thinking of starting Glycolic Acid, but I'm open to whatever actually works.
Please drop your recommendations! Has anyone else successfully reversed a severe tan while still having to walk in the sun everyday? I really want to see what actually worked for you guys, and am also open to any homemade totkay! 🙏
