Kimley Horn Phone Screen

I got a phone screen interview for aviation engineering analyst and would like some advice on how should I best prepare? Prior to these, I already got phone screened by the same recruiter twice. One when I was still trying to intern at Kimley Horn and another one when I applied for the wastewater engineering last March, which I both failed unfortunately. So I'm not sure how would I chamge the outcome this time with the same recruiter. I'm not sure if she would remember me and I'm kinda afraid because she might've remembered me as someone who failed her phone screen twice by now.

How is the competition for applying at Kimley Horn?

I am a mechanical engineer graduate but I want to work in Kimley Horn, I have already read the stories about the long work hours, but it is not something that I mind at all. Right now, I am a contract hire at a construction company by a staffing agency. Honestly, I would not even try to find search for jobs if I am hired full time, because right now it sucks that I have no benefits at all, commuting one hour to go to work and more than an hour back home thanks to the traffic, and I have to fill my tank quickly with these gas prices. To earn just a bit more, I have been working more than 50 hours for the overtime, I am even trying to tell my manager that I can work Saturdays too and to let me know when I am allowed to do that since I am working another job every saturday anyway at an ice cream store, might as well get some more overtime. So long work hours is not an issue for me at all, if I can do it for something less, what more with Kimley Horn's benefits.

I am currently working at a construction company, specifically doing distribution design. It's not bad but at the same time, I can't imagine myself in long term just doing AutoCAD. I actually want to test stuff or do some experiments, which is why I really liked lab classes when I was in college. I don't mind designing, but I also want to see it in real life and test if my design works. What roles would be best for what I am interested in and which companies should I focus on? Thank you!
