5 yo, 44.5 inches, 38 lbs, female, no previous medical history or medications. 4-5* middle of the night or early morning emesis over past 2 weeks. Brought to pedi, referred to neuro with appt next month. Vomiting also accompanied by diarrhea, decreased appetite, dark circles under eyes. None of other 3 children got sick. Tried changing diet. Took to urgent care today because she stated her stomach hurt all the way to her back- upper portion of abdomen tender and back hurts around level of bruising. no uti, stool kit given to r/o parasites. CBC/CMP ordered. Of note, three of her siblings are diagnosed with AR inherited diseases- congenital hypothyroidism (homozygous variant in DUOX2) and congenital glaucoma (genetics pending but one kid diagnosed, one kid glaucoma suspect). My concern is something with pancreas but I don’t know she is acute enough yet for ER visit but can’t get into GI until July-thoughts?
