Looking for guidance and shared experiences.

Has anyone had or do you have an astrocystoma that is affecting your eye sight? I’m on the fence whether to do the surgery and risk my left eyesight being taken away and want to know which option to take whether to do surgery or just chemo and radiation?

My son was recently diagnosed with an incurable brain cancer at 34 years old. Looking for help with his medical bills as he will lose his job due to long treatments.

Hi there! I am Brad’s mom (first picture) and I am reaching out to the community asking for some help. My son was recently diagnosed with a 3.5 cm tumor in his brain. He will have to have radiation and chemo. His medical bills have already reached $10k with insurance. He is an electrician and he has to stop work due to the risk of seizures and stroke. This fundraiser for Brad is just getting started, and sharing can really help it reach more people who might want to support him. Brad recently had surgery for a brain tumor, and the emotional and financial toll is heavy—he'll be out of work for weeks while he heals. If you’re able, please consider sharing or donating to help Brad and his family focus on what matters most—his recovery. Every bit of support makes a difference! 💙

Does anyone know why they changed the oil pump metal chain to a rubber belt? My oil pump stopped due to the shredded belt at 190k miles (yes I’m aware that’s a lot of miles) and in order to change this belt you have to take half the engine apart to access the belt.

Recently diagnosed with a 4.5 cm tumor in my brain at 34 years old.

On March 30th I was diagnosed with a brain tumor at 34 years old and I feel like my whole world has turned upside down. I’ve met with so many doctors and surgeons the last week or so and I am beyond overwhelmed. My type of tumor is in just the right spot that they don’t feel comfortable removing it due to fear of worse consequences. I will be starting chemo and radiation within the next few weeks and I wanted to reach out to this community and ask for guidance and information on what to expect in the coming months of all of this.

Thank you to this community for showing me an amazing hobby!

I just wanted to take a moment and thank this community for showing me new skill, hobby, and purpose. I’m not a professional or anything close to one when it comes to woodworking but it really has taught me a lot about patience and creativity! Here are a few projects I have made, and I hope to continuously improve in the future!

I was recently diagnosed with an incurable brain tumor at 34 years old.

Last week I went to the ER for major light flashing in my left eye and a major headache. I thought it was just some form of vertigo mixed with being tired. Long story short, they did a couple ct scans and an mri and they found out I have a 4.5cm tumor in my brain. It’s in a very bad spot that is not removable. I will have to start chemo and radiation in the next few weeks. They gave me a life expectancy of about 14 more years.

Trying to wrap my thoughts around this whole thing has been very difficult as I am only 34 years old. I work as an electrician and haven’t been able to work for 2 weeks now and it’s slowing killing me. I’m nervous, scared, and honestly angry this is happening.
