Today, after 41400km, I found one very stiff link on my original chain. 2022 Versys 1000. I only cleaned my chain (with kerosene) every 10000km (end of season). After cleaning I would wax the chain and then lube every 1000km to prevent rust. I removed the chain and fully inspected it, very good shape overall except for that link.
