2.2 Skyactiv - SCBS Forward Malfunction (P0101)
As above. I drive a 6 with the 2.2D engine. It is the sport nav with 175ps and the twin turbo set up.
I keep getting a SCBS forward malfunction pop up on the dashboard which is originally caused by a P0101 error then causing a cascade of ECU errors (ABS / SCBS). Always causing limp mode and sometimes producing a check engine light.
The error occurs under engine braking conditions only with no throttle - if I keep very light throttle then the error doesn’t happen.
I have done the following work in chronological order:
Full decarb - originally fixed issue before it started happening
again after ~5k miles
Found and fixed boost leak from turbo
Replaced MAF sensor
Replaced EGR with new gaskets.
Replaced MAP sensor
I’m still chasing this same issue and starting to pull my hair out. I’ve also ran a live diagnostics on a run and when the error occurs both the MAP and MAF values are within tolerance.
Other than this the car is perfect, the engine runs absolutely mint, pulls lovely, drives lovely, no rough idle, no coughing or spluttering, 0 smoke at all.
It has very regular oil changes and I also regularly check oil level for dilution which isn’t a problem either.
