Car subs in home theater, help

Before I start, I'd like to apologize since this concept has definitely been asked about. Basically you can assume what I'm trying to do. I have 2 Orion cobalt 12"s in a sealed box, from the 90's, currently with no amp, or crossover. They're wired to 1ohm and I'll attach pictures of the sticker on them. My dad bought them new back in the day and they blew everything modern I've bought out of the water on a 1200 watt California amp(the long white one that's hard to find) and a cheap $30 eBay crossover. Someone broke into his car and stole everything except the subs and box because they were bolted through the trunk to the rear subframe to prevent theft. I want to add them to my home theater. I have an Onkyo HT-R398 receiver that I bought as a combo from either Walmart or best buy. I've been very disappointed with the overall sound and bass response despite it being all Onkyo. It came with either a 6" or 8" ported sub. I switched over to bose speakers all around, Including a powered sub that is about the size of a large desktop PC case. Still disappointed. I swapped the FR and FL speakers to Sony towers and it helped the sound but still no bass really. Now I blew up my car that had a good system in it, and pulled it all. It's 2 Orion XTR 12's wired to 1 ohm in a sealed box, a 2 farad capacitor, the same cheap crossover, and a CT sounds 2000 watt monoblock amp that I think is blown out. It lights up fine but the subs stopped working a few weeks ago and the car blew up before I could get it fixed. It also had 2 Rockford Fosgate Prime 2 way 6x9s with bass blockers, mounted in boxes. And 2 of the same model but 3 way 6.5s not in boxes and also with blockers. I have the 6x9s hooked up in front now without blockers and the sound is great, I don't know if I should build boxes for the 6.5s and run those in the front or back and put the 6x9s in the other slot, buy a single 6x9 for the center channel and I would like to add the subs preferably the old cobalts. I plan to put the XTRs in my next car. I want to use the cobalts but not thrash on them and end up blowing them out, which is why I want to run them in the house. Just don't know what I need as far as amp, crossover, capacitor or battery, and power supply as well as running them to regular speaker wire for the receiver instead of the RCAs off the amp. My receiver only takes 1 RCA or pos neg wire. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My dad was who I'd always ask when it came to this stuff but he passed away in November
