Hello there,

As per the title, why the heck does every manhwa give the most boring and basic powers to the main character?

It's almost always the same powers in the terrible drawing I made in paint (+copying abilities). And even when you get powers that should be different from each other - like the elemental magic (earth, water, fire etc.), it almost always just ends up being "I shoot a ball of magic of this color and defeat everyone".

Take this guy for example. In 20 chapters the only thing he did with his sand powers was: 1. create sand, 2. control sand to shoot balls/lines of sand at his enemies. If he can control sand then why doesn't he just cover himself in sand and make it levitate to fly? Or create spheres of sand around his opponents' heads to suffocate them? Or part the desert like Moses around his enemies to bury them in sand?

I feel like manhwa can have great and unique powers for their characters. One example is the guy from God of Highschool where he could control the fundamental forces (gravity, electromagnetism etc.). Another good manhwa that does their powers right is Superhuman Era where yes, you do have characters that just have super strength/necromancy but also characters with unique powers like conjuration.

TLDR: Manhwa authors choose the most boring powers for their characters for the most part. Why?

Hello there,

As the title suggests you get a $15 to assemble your protection squad.

Your opponents are the unused manhwa characters. The characters are at their strongest power level shown in the manhwa so far. You can only pick each character twice for more variety (so no 15 Johns for example).

It's been a long time since I read the examples shown so forgive me if any character is too expensive/cheap.

My lineup is: Jin Mori for raw power, Ananta for hax, 2 Uthers for cuteness and Grand Duke of Hell for love advice.

Other than that, have fun!
