I think after tonight’s performance (and many before), surely Viktor owned a spot to start at DM over Bogarde when Onana and Bouba are out ? No ill intentions toward Bogarde , i know he’s young and developing but i can’t help but notice that almost everytime he’s on (especially when he starts) we lose the midfield. Today viktor was the missing piece of the previous games i would strongly want him to keep taking over until Onana is back as we desperately need that physicality in the midfield. On a side note, i think the best choice for Bogarde is to switch career positions and go for RB , he’s solid when he takes over Matty and might as well develop there. At least that way he gets more minutes to develop, helps Matty rest (for next season at least) and so we may save some money not shopping for a RB, AND play Viktor and not screw games when Bogarde starts at DM. What do you all think ?
