Hi! not super familiar with ticket master, when i bought my tickets it said at the top we couldnt transfer tickets, but i see people selling them...? how does that work?

not a scalper (ick), my friends and i just got seats far apart and are trying to figure out ways we could sit together 😭. If we're all in the top sections, could we talk to the people around us and see if theyd be open to swapping seats? or is there people at each section checking tickets?
