Bought a full sim rig (Logitech G Pro + Playseat) specifically for FM at launch. The FFB was so bad I quit within weeks — vague, artificial, weird snap-back to center, and the wheel basically gave me zero real information about what the car was doing in corners. GT7 had spoiled me.

I know the game has been patched a lot since then (though it also seems like support has gone pretty quiet lately?). I keep getting pulled back by nostalgia for tracks like Maple Valley, but every time I reinstall, the feeling is still *off* compared to GT7 or ACC.

Specific questions:

- Is the G Pro actually in a good place in FM now?

- Is there a settings profile someone can share that gets it close to GT7/ACC levels of precision?

- Or is the underlying FFB model just... fundamentally not there?

Not looking for "it's fine if you adjust X" — I'm looking for genuine sim-level wheel feedback. Does it exist in FM yet?

Thanks 🙏

I was hyped beyond belief for Forza Motorsport. Like, embarrassingly hyped. I went all-in — built a full sim rig with a Logitech G Pro Wheel and a Playseat before the game even launched. This was going to be my GT7 on Xbox. I was ready.

Then the game came out.

The FFB was... something. Vague, artificial, and with this weird snap-back-to-center behavior that made it feel less like a racing sim and more like steering a shopping trolley on ice. I spent weeks trying every settings guide I could find, and while I got it to a "playable" state, it never felt right. Coming from GT7, it was night and day. The wheel basically lied to me about what the car was doing — especially in corners.

I eventually dropped FM entirely, and honestly tried not to think about it too much.

But lately I've been feeling nostalgic. Maple Valley. Sunset Peninsula. The actual car culture in FM. I miss it. And I've heard the game has had years of patches at this point — though I also get the impression support has quietly wound down?

So here's my question for anyone still in the trenches:

Is the wheel experience in FM actually better now? Like meaningfully better? Not like "playable with tweaking" better — I mean, is there a setup where it approaches the FFB precision of GT7 or Assetto Corsa? Where the wheel actually tells you what the tires are doing?

I have a Logitech G Pro Wheel on Xbox Series X. If anyone has a settings profile that genuinely works — in-game AND on the wheel itself — I'd really appreciate it. Tired of having my heart broken every time I load this game.

Missing Maple Valley more than I probably should 🏁

Thank you guys
