মানুষের জীবনে দুটি জিনিষ প্রায়ই দেখা যায়। একটি হলো গোষ্ঠী-উচ্ছ্বাস যা আমরা আজকাল ফ্যানডম নামে জানি, অন্যটি হলো ভক্তি। বাইরে থেকে দেখলে দুটোতেই এক ধরনের আবেগপ্রবণতা আছে, কিন্তু ভিতরে ঢুকলেই বোঝা যায় যে এরা সম্পূর্ণ আলাদা।

গোষ্ঠী-উচ্ছ্বাস হলো মূলত দলগত কর্মকাণ্ড। এখানে বহু মানুষ একসাথে অংশ নেয়, উল্লাস করে, গান গায়, স্লোগান দেয়। এর শক্তি তৈরি হয় সংখ্যার জোরে। যত বড় ভিড়, তত বড় উচ্ছ্বাস। এখানে ব্যক্তির সত্তা মিশে যায় গোষ্ঠীর স্রোতে।

কিন্তু ভক্তি তার সম্পূর্ণ বিপরীত। ভক্তি হলো একান্ত অন্তর্জগতের যাত্রা। এখানে ভক্তের সঙ্গে ভগবানের সম্পর্ক একেবারেই ব্যক্তিগত। এর ভেতরে অন্য কারও প্রবেশাধিকার নেই। ভক্তি হলো নীরব সংলাপ, যেখানে প্রার্থনা আর উত্তর উভয়ই ঘটে হৃদয়ের গভীরে।

গোষ্ঠী-উচ্ছ্বাসে আনন্দ আছে, উল্লাস আছে, কিন্তু ভক্তিতে আছে শান্তি, নিবিড়তা এবং আত্মার পূর্ণতা। গোষ্ঠী-উচ্ছ্বাসে নাম উচ্চারিত হয় ভিড়ের কোলাহলে, আর ভক্তিতে সেই নাম ধ্বনিত হয় নিঃশ্বাসের ভেতরে।

রাস্তার মোড়ে মোড়ে, দীঘা বিচে বা অনেক টুরিস্ট স্পটে এই বিশ্ববাংলা ছড়িয়ে আছে, মানে সরকারি কোষাগার থেকে permanent কামাই এর ব্যাবস্থা করে রাখা আছে।

নতুন সরকারের উচিৎ একদম সময় নষ্ট না করে এই বিশ্ব বাংলা statue গুলো war footing এ নামিয়ে দেওয়া উচিৎ আর সরকারেরও লোগো এক্ষুনি পরিবর্তন করা প্রয়োজন।

আমি অন্তত এই ফেরেপবাজ ক্রিমিনাল অভিষেক কে একটা টাকাও আমার পকেট থেকে দিতে ইচ্ছুক নই।

A thousand years ago, Indian artisans created stone sculptures with astonishing anatomy, balance, detailing, symbolism, and permanence, and all without any modern tools.

Today, many public statues look mass-produced, cartoonish, and aesthetically careless despite having vastly better technology.

Civilisations decline culturally long before they decline economically. When speed, cheapness, and spectacle replace mastery and devotion to craft, even sacred art starts looking hollow.

Sanatan Dharma is not merely a religion; it is the civilizational heartbeat of India — a philosophy that has endured for thousands of years because it is rooted not in conquest, but in balance. It teaches that truth may have many paths, that society must function through Dharma — moral responsibility and justice — and that cultural confidence is essential for harmony. Unlike rigid ideological systems, Sanatan thought evolved by absorbing, debating, and reforming itself while still preserving its spiritual core.

Bengal was once among the strongest torchbearers of this civilizational spirit. The land of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s devotion, Bankim Chandra’s nationalism, Swami Vivekananda’s spiritual confidence, and Rabindranath Tagore’s cultural brilliance was deeply connected to Sanatan values even while remaining intellectually open. Durga Puja was not merely a festival; it was a cultural force. Sanskrit learning, temple traditions, Baul music, folk spirituality, literature, and philosophical debate together shaped the Bengali identity. Bengal’s greatness came not from denying its roots, but from standing firmly upon them.

Yet over the years, a strange distortion entered public life. Secularism, which should mean equal treatment of all citizens, slowly transformed into selective political appeasement. In Bengal, this became particularly visible during the rule of the Trinamool Congress. Policies and political messaging increasingly created the perception that one community’s sentiments were treated as politically untouchable while the majority community was expected to remain perpetually accommodating.

Examples repeatedly fueled this perception. Government stipends and grants directed specifically toward imams and muezzins became a major controversy because taxpayers questioned why religious functionaries of one faith were receiving state-backed financial benefits while Hindu temple priests received little institutional attention for years. Durga Puja immersions were at one point restricted citing Muharram processions, creating public outrage and leading the courts to intervene. Repeated accusations of soft handling of illegal infiltration across border districts also intensified anxieties about demographic and security changes. In several regions, incidents of political violence, local intimidation, syndicate culture, and selective administrative silence created the feeling that electoral calculations mattered more than impartial governance.

The issue is not hatred toward Muslims; Bengal’s social fabric has always included Hindus and Muslims living together for centuries. The problem begins when politicians stop seeing citizens as individuals and start treating communities as permanent vote banks. Appeasement ultimately harms everyone — it weakens institutions, deepens mistrust, isolates minorities from genuine reform, and convinces the majority that fairness no longer exists. A state cannot remain stable if justice appears selective.

This is where the deeper relevance of Sanatan Dharma re-emerges. Sanatan civilization never survived because of political power alone. It survived because it created cultural continuity, social resilience, and spiritual confidence. Even after invasions, colonialism, Partition, and ideological attacks, its foundations endured because it did not depend on fear or forced conformity. In today’s fractured world — where many societies are collapsing under extremism, identity conflicts, and civilizational confusion — India’s Sanatan framework offers something increasingly valuable: coexistence without cultural self-erasure.

That is also India’s geopolitical strength. The world looks toward India not merely for markets or military influence, but for civilizational stability. Yoga, Ayurveda, meditation, family structures, spiritual pluralism, and philosophical openness have become global influences precisely because Sanatan Dharma speaks to universal human questions without demanding cultural surrender. India remains perhaps the only major ancient civilization still alive in an unbroken cultural form while functioning as a modern democracy.

For Bengal, the path forward does not lie in communal bitterness, nor in denial of reality. It lies in restoring balance. A confident civilization does not oppress minorities, but neither does it apologize for its own existence. Bengal does not need to reject secularism; it needs to reclaim genuine secularism — where the law is equal, governance is impartial, culture is respected, and political power is not built through fear, dependency, or appeasement.

If Bengal rediscovers that civilizational confidence, it can once again become what it once was — not merely a political state, but a cultural lighthouse for India.

Bengal has seen enough slogans, enough violence, enough fear, and enough political arrogance. What the people seek today is not revenge, but restoration. Restoration of dignity, of law, of opportunity, and of hope.

As Prime Minister Narendra Modi bowed before the people of Bengal during Suvendu Adhikari’s oath-taking ceremony, it symbolized something deeper than political victory. It was an acknowledgment that the mandate belongs to the people - to the unemployed youth searching for work, to families exhausted by tolabaji and syndicate culture, to ordinary citizens who simply want to live without fear.

But symbolism alone cannot heal Bengal.

The expectations from this new BJP government are sky high because the suffering of Bengal has been deep and prolonged. People understand that decades of decay cannot be reversed overnight. No miracle is expected in a day.

But what Bengal now needs is visible intent, decisive direction, and concrete reforms.

The first signs of change must be felt in governance itself: Jobs instead of cut money. Security instead of political terror. Industry instead of extortion. Administration instead of party control.

History remembers governments not for the speeches they delivered, but for the systems they rebuilt.

Bengal has not voted merely for a change of rulers. It has voted for the return of order, merit, accountability, and self-respect.

Now begins the real test.

Power does not always leave the throne quietly. Sometimes, when defeat arrives, it reveals the true face of politics, not ideology, not service, but fear.

From Kolkata to Howrah, from Madhyamgram to local neighborhoods where ordinary workers simply raised a flag, Bengal is once again hearing the language it has heard for decades: intimidation, bullets, and blood.

A brother murdered. A party worker beaten to death inside his own home. An aide shot dead. Another young man attacked for putting up flags in a democracy.

These are not isolated incidents anymore. They are reminders of what happens when politics stops being a battle of ideas and becomes a battle for control.

The tragedy of Bengal is not just political violence. The tragedy is that generations have slowly begun accepting violence as “normal” after elections.

But democracy cannot survive where fear rules the streets. A society cannot call itself civilized if citizens need courage simply to express political support. History teaches one brutal lesson: When violence becomes a tool of politics, eventually the common people become its permanent victims.

Bengal deserves better than revenge cycles. It deserves law, order, dignity, and equal protection for every citizen, regardless of party.

If a new government has truly arrived with the promise of change, then its biggest responsibility is not celebration. It is cleansing the culture of political terror from the soil of Bengal once and for all. Because real victory is not winning elections.

Real victory is when no mother fears a knock on the door after the results are declared.

There comes a moment in the life of every civilization when fear exhausts itself.

When slogans lose their spell. When intimidation stops sounding like power. When people who stayed silent for years suddenly rediscover their voice.

History teaches one brutal truth: no throne built on arrogance survives forever. Empires fall. Dynasties fade. Political machinery that once looked invincible becomes a chapter in yesterday’s newspaper.

Because time is undefeated, and the people, eventually, awaken.

Bengal now stands at that threshold. What many called impossible is beginning to feel inevitable. Not merely a political transition, but a civilizational correction. A return of confidence. A return of identity. A return of the courage to speak without fear. For decades, countless voices felt ignored. Countless families felt abandoned. Countless Hindus felt forced to whisper in their own homeland. But suppressed truth has a strange habit, it returns stronger.

The end of one era is not just the defeat of a party. It is the collapse of an ecosystem of fear, appeasement, violence, and intellectual arrogance.

And every ending carries within it the seed of a beginning.Perhaps that is why history moves in cycles.

Adharma rises loudly. Dharma rises patiently. The storm always believes it will last forever. But dawn does not ask permission from the night.

Bengal is remembering itself again.

And when a civilization remembers who it is, no force can stop its awakening.
