On Tuesday (4/28) I sat for the AICE Environmental Paper 1 exam in the gym. On this specific day the gym accommodated for the Marine Sci Paper 2 and our Environmental Paper 1 at the same time, so one side of the gym took one test and th other side took the other. Basically someone snuck in their Apple Watch and cheated for the Marine exam. before the test started, you could hear beeping go off that was very clearly a device or some notification. The proctor asked where the sound came from, nobody spoke up, and abt 5 mins later we started the test. Well as of today they concluded their investigation and some girl cheated on the marine test. A bunch of rumors r going around and people are freaking out, worried that their test is gonna be invalidated. The teachers haven't made a statement yet but I'm a TA and overheard some staff talking about it. Will I face any issues with my exam just because I was in the same room? I highly doubt it but Im just wondering if anyone has been in this sort of situation before. I didn't even take the same test but people r telling me that I should be worried too.
