Future MLS in Clinicals: Help Me Survive 😅 | Hematology/Coag Clinical Rotation Incoming!
Hey everyone! I start my first clinical rotation in about 3 weeks in Hematology/Coagulation and Urinalysis, and I’m excited but definitely nervous too 😅
I’d love any advice, heads-ups, survival tips, or words of encouragement from people who’ve already been through it. What should I expect on the first day? Anything you wish you reviewed beforehand?
I already plan on bringing a notepad and pen so I can write down everything and avoid asking the same questions twice. I really want to make a great first impression on both the department and my preceptor while also getting the most out of the experience.
Any tips for succeeding in Heme/Coag or Urinalysis would seriously help! 🩸🔬
