I spent 6 months creating an app called My Petaverse using Google AI studio with really no experience in anything related to coding. The app is basically geared to preteens/teens/young adults who love pets and is also designed to create a "safe" place for families to enjoy together using their current pet or future pet.

The app allows the user to upload pictures of their pet and create downloadable bio cards, with different type of prompt driven art work of their pet, along with prompt driven personality traits. The app also has a place to research from a huge pool of pet names, learning meanings, and capatability to other pet names, etc. There is an area to play games learning more about ones pet's unique traits to come up with jokes and other fun sharable things to add to the downloadable cards. I feel it is pretty easy to maneuver through the app and the colors/avatars are designed to be appeal to all age groups.(IMHO)

Other features I added that I thought were cool and useful are a page dedicated to resources to find adoption centers and pet boarding service in any area by putting in a zip code. The app gives live links to various websites.

Also I have a toggle at the bottom of the main page where the user can switch between 5 different languages so it creates an opportunity for people to learn a language in a fun engaging manner.

The app is free and I recognize that everything this app does anyone can get the same information and pet art opportunities using Chat or any other AI program. I was hoping the appeal would be that this is all in one user-friendly place.

With all this said, basically the app has only 28 downloads so far, it's been a month. I am marketing on Tiktok by making cute pet related videos, I made 30 so far and am posting every day. In the videos I don't come out and try to "sell" the app, however the info and link is in the bio if someone wants to find out more.

So far there are 92 followers and 700 likes om TikTok. I am not sure if that is good or bad. I am at a loss, what do I do next? Seems like the TikTok marketing of these cute videos is not converting.

I am open to suggestions! Should I pay for Influencer ads? I just read the sobering information about how many apps are uploaded each month to the Apple store - 0-: How can I stand out? Okay that was my vent for the day. I am lost and open to suggestions! Thanks for reading this post, it means a lot to me.
