Just bought one and I’m completely new to charcoal type cooking.

I’ve not even built it as yet which I expect to be fun. Any advices to do or not do.

Also, my old barbecue was a Weber gas and I just used it on the plastic composite decking that we have. I would expect that the Masterbuilt is not suitable for this type of decking because of the potential for stray bits of coal/ embers?

I’m a complete newbie so any advice would be appreciated.
