Hey everyone,
I'm just starting out with KDP and currently using Helium 10 for keyword research. I'm trying to find niches with high search volume and low competition, and while I'm able to find a few, the problem I keep running into is that the Amazon search results for those keywords are dominated by high-authority books — ones with 1000+ reviews. That's making it really hard to compete even when the search volume looks promising.
So basically I'm looking for the sweet spot: high search volume + low competition + not many books with strong review counts.
Is there a better or smarter way to find these kinds of niches? Any tools, workflows, or filters you use in Helium 10 (or elsewhere) that help cut through this?
Would really appreciate any guidance — struggling a bit to crack this.
