Completed Chinese Course (from English)
So, I've finally finished Chinese course (skipped through some of the last section units, because they are honestly ridiculous - adding 1 or 2 words every unit with some lessons only having two or three exercises, that repeat throughout the whole unit is so lazy). It's incredibly disappointing, how much the course has changed for the worse in the last almost two years that I have been doing it. AI-made lessons have completely ruined everything, that is connected to listening and speaking comprehension- words are rarely recognised properly, so much missing, misplaced or distorted audio. I am not new to Duolingo, I've previously used it for French course and a bit if Japanese(on a separate account, long ago, some time around 2018-2019). I've been studying Chinese through extra resources by myself, and very very soon it becomes obvious, that Duolingo course doesn't add any real knowledge- just some vocabulary, that is all over the place. I've passed my HSK3 test (298/300) and currently preparing for HSK4, and I can confidently say, that pretty much any alternative app is way way better. It is so sad, that the course is artificially bloated.
